Pq LAB was born out of distance and a shared belief we do our best work together. After crossing paths at Ogilvy, co-founders Loren, Adam, and Brian quickly realized their complementary skills weren’t just aligned, they were powerful. But as their careers pulled them in different directions, one thing became clear - they didn’t want to keep building separately.

In 2019, after years of conversations and what-ifs, People Intelligence LAB became real. Pq LAB brings deep expertise across every facet of Human Resources, grounded in real-world practice, not theory. Based in New York and Los Angeles, we work wherever our partners need us.

We often serve as the HR team for small organizations, stepping in as a trusted, embedded partner to build, scale, and steady people operations. While we thrive alongside startups and mid-size companies, we’re excited to partner with any organization looking to build or strengthen a strong people and talent foundation through an intentional Inclusive & Equity lens —because great cultures don’t happen by accident; they’re built with purpose.
